We are hiring Inserter Machine Operators in Parma, OH.
Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Pay Rate: $19.28 per hour
Inserter Machine Operator Summary:
- Operate and assist with high-speed inserter machines in a warehouse production environment.
- Load materials, clear machine jams, unload completed work, and tray inserted pieces.
- Maintain production schedules while meeting quality and accuracy standards.
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Support print production, fulfillment, and mail processing operations.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet daily production goals.
Inserter Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and maintain high-speed inserter equipment.
- Load materials, clear jams, and ensure continuous machine operation.
- Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and customer specifications.
- Maintain optimal machine performance by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting minor issues.
- Meet production deadlines while maintaining error-free work.
- Complete all required reporting and production documentation accurately.
- Organize jobs by reviewing work instructions and preparing necessary supplies.
- Transfer files, calibrate equipment, and support print production workflows as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform additional production, fulfillment, mailroom, and equipment support duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience preferred
- Previous machine operator or warehouse experience required
- Experience in a roll-fed printing environment is a plus
- Basic PC skills with the ability to learn production software
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Technical aptitude to learn and operate complex production equipment
- Strong organizational and customer service skills
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, and twist throughout the entire shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist with heavier items when required
- Strong attendance history with stable work experience and minimal employment gaps
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while remaining focused and productive
